TeamViewer Portable 12.0.81460 has been released. TeamViewer is a remote PC support/control and screen-sharing tool. You can remote control a partner's desktop to give online assistance, or you can show your screen to a customer without worrying about firewalls, IP addresses and NAT. It's packaged as a portable app so you can work on the go and it's in Format so it can easily integrate with the Platform. It's released as freeware for personal use (business/office use requires a license).

TeamViewer Portable is made available by the publisher, TeamViewer GmbH.

Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the Platform.

  • Support, administration and screen-sharing in one package
  • Remote administration of unattended servers
  • File transfer
  • Key exchange and AES (256 Bit) session encoding
  • Remote support without installation
  • Remote presentation of products, solutions and services
  • Works behind firewalls

TeamViewer Portable is packaged in a Installer so it will automatically detect an existing installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in Format, so it automatically works with the Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Story Topic:

When I click on the download link I keep getting the “blocked” page, but I do not have any scripts operating that would give that results.

Finally I went directly to and I do not see the most recent version of TeamViewer listed. Perhaps the installer program upload did not happen?

Update: I have now run across this with FastStone Viewer and several other recent updated PortableApps, but not with Audacity, Telegram, or McAfee Stinger.

Both TeamViewer and FastStone (and likely the other apps you are seeing it with) are freeware so can't be released via Sourceforge (which only allows open source software). While Stinger is also freeware, it is an online installer so can be released on Sourceforge because it does not bundle any non-OS parts within the package.

Any packages that do bundle non-OS software are released via our own CDN, not Sourceforge.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

False alarm here. I was using K-Meleon, which has only the default plug-ins, but which evidently hides my referrer? When I click on the above link from the TeamViewer PA home page for the latest version download I get “No referer / hidden”. (From this page, however, I get

Bottom line is that when I attempted the latest download using Firefox, where I have all kinds of privacy enhancing plugins, it went fine.

Sorry for the bother.
