Update automatically or install from the portable app store in the PortableApps.com Platform.

PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format

KiTTY Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. After reinstalling KiTTY Portable 0.72.0.5, the first time you start KiTTY Portable
the folder structure in the path ..\PortableApps\KiTTYPortable\Data\.. is created.
Unfortunately the file Default%20Settings is still missing in the path ..\Data\Sessions\.. .

The folder structure already exists during the update.

Create in path ..\Data\Sessions\... a new file Default%20Settings without extension.
The 0 byte long file is filled with text by KiTTY.

I was under the impression the publisher fixed this bug and that folder existing is no longer required.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I'll have a look at it tomorrow. I tried it on my Win8.1 machine and got no more errors. I did not try how it handles any leftovers.

Oops - I found the bug. mea culpa - I somehow managed to mix up my packaging procedure. The files in App/KiTTY are wrong (0.72.0.2). I'll push out a fix asap with 0.72.0.6 that has been released a few days ago.

Correct 0.72.0.6 built and sent. Sorry for the inconvenience.
