Hash
Hello John,
wrong hash for version 100.0.4815.54.
Fine Here
It installed via the platform without issue and the SHA256 is correct on the homepage. Please try installing again.
Hello John,
Hello John,
on the ppa site your sha256 hash is:
88077e1dd33240f04e4974b0220c01a00cff8267235603920f4e1c418b31123=
and on a sha256 hash-value there should no = sign inside (!)
If you replace the = with a B it is correct...
You can always install with a wrong hash value, but how can we be save,
not to install a compromised tool? (!)
Updated
Ah, I must have accidentally typed in the field on the site. It was right in the PA.c Platform database otherwise the platform would refuse to install it. It checks the SHA256 before installing.
