IrfanView Portable is a fast, compact and innovative graphic viewer for Windows supporting pictures, vector graphics, animated images, movies, icon files and much more. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. It is freeware for personal and educational use.

Plugin Update 1 - Critical Security Patch
This updated version of IrfanView includes updates to both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of 5 plugins. Critically, it includes a security patch for the WebP plugin to fix an issue allowing code execution.

The publisher updated some plugins after the 4.62 release but hasn't done another release yet. See here: https://www.irfanview.com/plugins.htm
One of those updates, the one to WebP, has a critical security patch to address an exploit that's in the wild. So, I released a new package of IrfanView Portable with all the updated plugins.

Yes indeed. So the WebP exploit is patched in the portable version, automatically for PA.c Platform users. I did this a while back when OpenOffice patched an exploit without releasing an updated version leaving users at risk. You're welcome.
