A new version of Listary Portable has been released. Listary is a find as you type search utility that is somewhere between a launcher and a file manager. Listary Classic Portable is also available. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. Listary is freeware for personal use.

Description
Listary is a search utility that is somewhere between a launcher and a file manager. It brings up a find as you type window by double tapping on the CTRL key by default. It maintains cached file indexes for each PC you use.
PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com Format
Listary Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Major Change, Legacy Package
This new version of Listary requires Windows 7 and later, .NET 4.8, and admin rights, so it is a very different app than the previous 3.x release. I've packaged the previous version as Listary Classic Portable. As you upgrade from the old release, a ListaryClassicPortable package will be created alongside your existing copy, preserving your settings. This legacy package is also available from the PortableApps.com Platform App Store and from it's own homepage: Listary Classic Portable.
