A new version of Gramps Portable has been released. Gramps is a genealogy program that is both intuitive for hobbyists and feature-complete for professional genealogists. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. And it's open source and completely free.

And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Platform including the Menu and Backup Utility.

Fix for GraphView addon not working with PortableApps Gramps

Thanks for providing the latest version of Gramps to the PortableApps community, much appreciated! A user reported a bug that he could not run the GraphView addon in this version of Gramps. There are several old and long-running threads about this on the forum, but none of them resolved the issue for me. After discussing the issue with Nick Hall (Gramps' current architect), he informed me that a similar issue was discovered with the Snap package, and he resolved it by run a command to configure dot:
After running this in the PortableGramps app folder, GraphView started working. Could you please run this before packaging the next release of Gramps on PortableApps? Thanks.
