Back - Forward Disabled

Back - Forward Disabled

I use portable Firefox and install some extension. but back , forward , refresh and address bar don't work and are disabled.why?
also the Firefox are very low speed.

my guess

would be that an extension is causing this.
The slowness could also be a slow drive, though.
