Probably not. I have a X-Micro portable hard drive and it's green light is always on too when it's plugged in, means it has power. Only thin you can do is point it away from you.
Through... if you want to open the case, you can disconnect the wire that goes to the light. But I don't recommend it.
nearly all sandisk drives have a continuous light that only flickers diring transfer of large files, there is no way to fix this and it is really annoying considering the entire line of cruzer and cruzer micro does this an i have one of each.
