Hi,
I thought it would be a good idea to include this great filecommander in your standard package? People with a license (as I) can just copy the licenseskey to the directory.
This application is already made portable by the author.
The url is: http://www.ghisler.com
Link for the portable version: http://www.ghisler.com/usbinst.htm
Thanks for a GREAT site.

but TotalCommander is not FOSS or free as in beer, these suites are meant to be free. The apps here are hosted on SF.net, which only accepts FOSS, and John would have to have a bottomless pocket to fund a non-FOSS server...
You mean bottomless as in infinite? Or as in all the money he has always gets lost? Or is that an idiom?
Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.
It's an idiom. No matter how much (money) you pull out of the purse, you never reach the bottom.
There's the practical side: PA is supporting/promoting Open Source products. Open Source products can be hosted on SourceForge for free.
There's the expense side: if PA had to host some or all of the products on a regular hosting service, the cost would be prohibitive. (Perhaps not infinite, but someone with a bottomless purse would be able to pay for it, but most of us here would not.)
If the product is shareware or commercial, it can't really be incorporated into the suite. Some people have found ways to make various products work with the Suite. People here are ambivalent about whether to support that on this site with instructions or custom software. But it certainly cannot be hosted on SF.net.
The gray area is freeware that is not open source. It still can't be hosted on SF.net, so (for now) it can't be included in the suite. There are rumors that an alternative host might become available, but for now it's kind of difficult to discuss.

In addition Xenon is a decent fm which would suit lots of people's needs, not everyone has the need for the immense powa of an orthadox fm.
