I was just checking out my personal account page, and I saw John made some updates to it. The one big one I saw was the localization for your account, I'm pretty sure that's knew? 
I also so he added some other choices to the 'Portable Device' section, and I was wondering if we could have more than one, cause then you could also see how many people use Portable Apps on more than one type of device.
Since you're making these changes John, I know a while back you implemented some 'Developer Chat Box' which is gone now. I was wondering if we could have an entry in our account page to add a 'Contact Address' where people could add:

Or even better, one of those e-mail things Captcha has now where it's like

That'd be sweet, and it would be optional, because there's a lot of people I'd like to contact, but then you need to interrupt posts to ask them for their e-mail. I don't know how other people feel about this, but it would be optional, so there should be no problem. Just my opinion.
I also noticed 'Monthly Newsletter (Coming Soon)'. Good call. 
Unless that was always there, too.
Oh, and maybe this is a good time to mention when you go to a non-existent page, the 404 message has a 1 after the period for some reason. I don't know if the HTML is messed up, or if it's just a typo

There are still some errors in the translations but other than that i like it.
for example on the tracker it says "32 Minuten 45 Sekunden ago" instead of "Vor 32 Minuten 45 Sekunden", and last post/last poster and such.

I prefer a form-based messaging capability to posting my email address. Like if I wanted to send Patrick a message I'd go to his user page and click on "send message" and fill out a form. There could be more control that way -- Drupal could send the message to Patrick (if he wanted to receive messages) or ask him if he wanted to get a message from me. Then if Patrick wanted me to know his email address, he could send it back to me the same way.
It's mostly about keeping spammers away from my mailbox, but there are a few people who I'd prefer not know my e-mail. (No, Patrick is not one of them...)

I agree. I know Drupal has a form for the Administrator to contact regular users by just like going to their account and clicking contact, so it'd be cool it John could implement it for regular users that select to have it active.

Does Drupal support private messaging? If not, then it's probably something you'd have to suggest to the Drupal developers.
Otherwise, I agree that it should be enabled.

believe that it used to be allowed on these very forums, however it obfuscated the real source of the email and so was blocked by most spam filters i.e. it tried to make it looked like the email came from the users email when it was actually sent by the pa.com server.
That's not private messaging (PM). PM's work directly through whatever community software a site or message board is running. Each user would have a PM inbox from which they could send and receive messages to and from other users. What you're talking about is an e-mail contact form, which is something altogether different.
