What's your favorite thing to Eat?

Before we hijack sargentsiler's thread anymore, what do you like to eat?

Pizza- with afore mentioned meat (I have teeth, and canines, thus I eat meat), some mushrooms (not to many, just to add food to the pizza), black olives, and cheese.

Its good cold the day after to!

Shrooms!

Anything with mushrooms, really. Especially portobellos. Those are the best. Also, I like roast beasht (beaf, to y'all non Yanks) and mashed potatoes.

Filet mignon is good, too.

Though I am careful about the non-organic meats!

And cold pizza? Yugh!

RE: "cold pizza? Yugh!"

Anyone who argues

1) in FAVOR of 'shrooms (the fungus among us)
and
2) AGAINST cold pizza

is a girly-man of the highest order.
(or lowest, depending on your exact nomenclature)

Some rulez here...

...before we start:

1) Can't mention "hijacking a thread" w/o noting the URL of said thread.
2) Likewise, can't refer to "aforementioned meat" w/o noting WHERE it was "aforementioned"
3) Pizza IS "food" (as some would say, it is "the breakfast of champions"); thus cannot say "just to add food to the pizza", for that would be redundant - not to mention repetitive.
4) It is good 'cold' the day after TOO!...

Yeah

It is good cold, especially if it is a sweet potata pie! Makes a good breakfast!

What?...

...sweet potato PIZZA?...

Y E C H H ! ! !...

That is absolutely the most nauseating idea for a pizza topping that I have ever heard of.

What's next; "Chopped liver" pizza?...

Yeah!

Except that there is no such thing as sweet patato pizza. SP Pie is in the same catagory as pumpkin and apple pies...

I must object...

...to your usage of "sweet potato" and "apple pie" as being in the same category, on the following basis:

1) Apple pie is as American as, well...Mom; whereas SP pie, well...how do they say it: "Not so much..."
2) A properly made apple pie is irresistable
2) SP pie - no matter how it's made - is nasty.

DUDE!

Have you even tried SP Pie? I have not. I am defending it from you reviling it because you have not tried it. You should try things before reviling it (well not all things but I am sure you know what I mean). Its not like SP Pie = tarantula legs (people eat those believe it or not).

Open minded people do not waste other people's time. You wasted 2 minutes of my life and I want them back because they were wasted on trying to open one's mind.

I am not trying to revile you, rather think of it as a lesson.

Methinks thou dost assumeth....

...way too much.
You ask if I've ever tried, it, then go on to rant based on the assumption that I have not tried it.

Here's the relevant facts:
----------------------------
1) I have NOT, in fact, tried SP pie.
2) I HAVE, in fact tried SP's themselves.
3) Based on item #2 above, my research experience confirms my SPs are indeed nasty.
4) Exhaustive personal research reveals that, in every instance I can recall where I *like* the foodstuff itself, if it comes in a pie form, I've tried the pie form and found it to be tasty.
5) Logic therefore dictates that if #4 is true, then the *converse* is likewise true.
6) Therefore, it logically follows that SP is nasty.
7) "Open mindedness" is irrelevant when a considerable body of research and logic indicates a particular outcome to be likely
8 ) "Open-mindedness is ridiculously overrated in our culture; I have not "tried" armed robbery either, but I'm quite sure I can condemn it as something I would not "like".
9) You will not get that 2 minutes of your life back - sorry.

Biggrin

You should try one!

Sweet potato pie is much different from a sweet potato itself.
Consider the fact that unsweetened chocolate is not the same as a silk chocolate pie (yumm).

And, armed robbery is wrong, while eating a SP pie (if it is your own, that is) is not a crime.

Were we talking about pizza?
Yumm.... supreme! Add some hot sauce, and it is perfect!

Well

I also think open mindness is overated. I only support the concept when either discussing food or Linux.

In addition I stated that not everthing (like immoral stuff) should be tried before being reviled.

I Like

Pizza, Steak, Cookies and milk, the usual + Cake frosting.

But seriously, my microwave is like my best friend.
Anyone who enjoys cold pizza needs to buy a microwave.

Um, nope...

First off, if one nukes the pizza, it'll no longer be cold, which rather defeats the purpose of one's saying one *likes* it cold...

Second, nukes can heat the crust but also make it (or any kinda breadly item) unnaturally tough and chewy. No thanks.

If one wants to re-heat pizza, a toaster oven is the most humane and efficient way to do it - put it on "broil" setting and it'll do the trick.

(I bought one for $30 at Wally World which is big enough that it can fit a 12" medium pizza completely inside - ideal for heating up a frozen Uno's pizza straight from the freezer -although if completely frozen need to put the unit on "Bake" setting...)
