Are cards (CompactFlash/Memory Stick/xD/et al) significantly faster (read/write speed) than regular USB flash drives (without a reader/adapter)? Also, how well do readers perform against regular flash drives? I know that card speeds will vary by type and model, but I want to know how they perform in general against conventional USB flash drives.
My sd cards aren't eligible for readyboost, but my drive is. Pretty much, I would say no, they're mainly designed for cameras. Unless if it's super-fast, like readyboost enhanced. Don't go for the all in ones, though, I found they break easily.

Don't use Readyboost unless you want to kill your drive in record time. But thanks for the heads-up on all-in-one readers.
