I've posted a quick test of the launcher and installer being built using Simplified Chinese for folks to test. It's the first test of a non-ASCII build and I want to ensure the character encodings are set properly. As NSIS is non-Unicode, the installer and launcher's text will only show up correctly if you're using Windows configured to the correct locale. For other users, it will show up as random-looking characters.
If some of our Simplified Chinese users could give this a try and report your results, it would be much appreciated.

(may take a few minutes to hit all the download servers)
Also, a couple strings still need translating into Simplified Chinese:
LangString LauncherAskCopyLocal ${LANG_SIMPCHINESE} "${PORTABLEAPPNAME} appears to be running from a location that is read-only. Would you like to temporarily copy it to the local hard drive and run it from there?$\n$\nPrivacy Note: If you say Yes, your personal data within ${PORTABLEAPPNAME} will be temporarily copied to a local drive. Although this copy of your data will be deleted when you close ${PORTABLEAPPNAME}, it may be possible for someone else to access your data later." LangString LauncherNoReadOnly ${LANG_SIMPCHINESE} "${PORTABLEAPPNAME} can not run directly from a read-only location and will now close."
If anyone can translate these, that would be great. As with the other translations, it's under a joint copyright assignment (both you and PortableApps.com) so it can be used in both the open source launchers and with commercial software.
Nevermind, no reply, so I figure it's too OT. Please see here
and the installer strings looked really criptic but thats becaus chinese isnt installed at my computer.
But the actual copy worked and I finally have my chinese speaking browser (although i cant speak chinese :))

I use traditional on account that my family's from HK. I am not requesting to make a traditional, it's too boring (I owe 3 book reports and I usually get a 60 on the weekly test).

Tested on a Chinese system, everything works fine.
Thanks!
The missing strings you've requested:
Excellent, thanks for checking that out. Glad to know I've got the encodings correct. And thanks for the submission for the PortableApps.com Platform.
PS - I removed your signature... links aren't permitted in signatures. You'll notice the link to you site shows up next to your name in each of your posts.
