Hi Guys.
Is the above possible yet either as one package or by installing the toolbar separately? Would really be great for me.
Thanks

This is asked a lot (you can search in the top right corner of this site). Just go install the Google Toolbar for Firefox, and it should work fine. Read your search results for answers on whether it's still truly portable.
I know old topics addressed the portability issue...but I just encountered this problem and I'm sure other people are too...I just wanted to add that you can create your own custom buttons in Firefox using information from the following link:
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Custom_Toolbar_Button
That way you don't have to worry about Google's custom toolbar buttons not being portable. (Would have replied to the old threads but they're all closed and can't be updated)
I upgraded firefox portable in my portable apps today, and found the Google toolbar was gone...
I don't know how,
But Google Toolbar isn't Portable.
Patrick is right that it'll work ok, but it's settings won't be carried from computer to computer.
They will, but you have to tell it to do it & they will be downloaded from google servers to each computer, without deleting it
