Portable Notepad++ & Portable Firefox

Notepad++ and Firefox two of the best softwares around and as portable apps, is it necessary to say more?

Anyways...

How can have Portable Notepad++ preview the current document that I'm working on Portable Firefox?

When I click on RUN >>> LAUNCH IN FIREFOX Nothing happens. Notepad++ is looking for a local install of Firefox.

Both software are installed on the same USB drive with the PortableApps.com Menu. This is to give you and idea of the structure inside the USB drive. I'm running Windows Vista.

Thanks in advance.

In N++Portable hit F5 (Run

In N++Portable hit F5 (Run dialog) and paste something like this into it. Assign a hotkey, and you're golden.

$(NPP_DIRECTORY)\..\..\..\FirefoxPortable\FirefoxPortable.exe "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"

Make sure the relative path is correct for your setup of course.

Thanks

I'm not the original poster but thanks for that tip. BTW, shortcuts.xml is where these settings are saved.
