Insight on portable application Development.

Hi guys. I just love the portable application concept. I would like insights on how to start making applications portable.
Any help would be welcome. Smile

Reading source code and the forum

Hi Lightbringer,

I think the best start would be reading the source code and readme.txt of the portableapps launchers (from John Haller) and the other portable launchers/ apps made by rmccue, Steve Lamerton, Deuce, justin, Rob Loach etc.

And surely you can find hints in some threads here in the forum - you just need to read them Wink

Sometimes in the future you will find condensed informations here but John T. Haller has a job and a family so don't expect him doing everything at once.
