I stumbled across this app on sourceforge and thought it looked interesting. It's a standalone app that automatically splits up large mp3 files.
It's open source and written in C++.
http://audiobookcutter.sourceforge.net/
I realize that Audacity can manipulate mp3 files, and based on the website this app is already portable, but I think it would be a nice app to have in .paf format
I'll look into it tonight as a quick one to do over the break.
that there's no reason to do anything to it. It's only one file. Just create a folder in your PortableApps directory and drop the AudiobookCutter.exe into it. It'll show up in your PAM.
ditto and only if PAM is really needed to run a simple as as this
Slackware 12 for system
MCP (For XP and Server 2003)
Network + Certified
aim is "nycjv321" (minus quotes)
He wants PAF
but I think it would be a nice app to have in .paf format
So we give him PAF.
if the village idiot wants to jump off a cliff then let him
seriously though are we going to make every "portable" app on this site .paf friendly then even small portable apps (such as miniaim which is a nice aim client) (we already done putty, sudoku, etc... etc... I could go on forever so I stop here) would need .paf compliance rather then focus on portability?

PuTTY needed portability adjustments, Sudoku had it source code modded by John so it could be made portable, etc etc.
Yes, having is Data backup compat., AppInfo, and Installers all help the end user very much.
press F2, go just before the .exe and type .paf, then press enter...
Is not that way?
