I would like to see a cd/dvd burner that can handle .iso .img files.
Also convert wav to mp3. And make dvd´s out of mpeg files.

Luckily, most of these apps are around, just in beta, but work quite fine.
For CD/DVD burner, search for InfraRecorder Portable on this site, it can handle .iso. There's also cdrtfe Portable, which probably also handles that format.
As for media convertion, search for 'BonkEnc Portable'.
And lastly, I don't know of anything we have yet, but I was looking into DVD Flick a while back, they just used a closed source burning program, but they offer a portable version on their site, just Google for that one.
