Bad News: Jury Duty

As most of you know, I've been stuck in jury duty this week. Unfortunately, I've been selected for the jury in a criminal case. It's full time every day about an hour from me and expected to last 1 to 2 weeks.

So, I'll be a bit out of the loop workwise. But, I'd still like to get an app a day out next week. I'll be working every night on PortableApps.com stuff while doing jury duty. I think as long as we have some of our experienced forum members and developers helping to vet the apps currently posted as development tests, we can do it.

I'll also be posting the PortableApps.com Spec next week even if it means missing some sleep as I have been this week to keep things going.

I'm running out the door to get to my friend's bachelor ski/poker weekend at the moment, but I'll be back in Sunday night and will be online via Treo here and there.

Sorry about this unexpected holdup.

Kind Regards,
John

You must be

so glad to have Firefox Portable so you can use your Bookmarks and personal settings while being off fulfilling your jury duties Wink

But don't worry, the new modes were introduced just at the right moment and they are doing a great job. Especially Tim. I really love his posts. Its the right mixture of gentleness, creativity, strictness and humour.

Fulfill your "civic duty"

I was in a jury pool when I was up in Alaska, but we never got called to go thru the process.

I was called once,
I was interviewed but Not Chosen Sad

I asked the Judge if I could stay for the case anyway Smile
Everyone in the court looked at me like I had two heads Shock

Tim
p.s
He did let me stay and it was a very learning experience Blum

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
