I know its not what you are asking for but try http://www.bitlet.org/ for downloading torrents, if I remember correctly it just requires Java(found it a while ago) other than that nothing is installed on computer.

For the non-open source bittorrent clients, such as µtorrent, you might check out their web site. For example, with µtorrent, they post instructions for running the program from a USB drive. You can make a folder (e.g. PortableApps\µtorrent) and copy two files to it and have a portable installation. It's not a PAF, but it is relatively easy.
