Main menu looks odd - not palced on screen correctly

My menu doesn't show properly as shown in the image below:

That's an excellent screen shot of that bug. Maybe John should borrow it and use it to help people figure out when they are suffering from it!

I think thats normal

PAM has 2 font sizes and he is using the bigger one.

I think it is the DPI

I think it is the DPI setting. It's listed as a bug in PAM. I get it when it is set at 120% (I think, it's been a while). I don't think the size of the fonts used with it helps much; about all that helps us using beta 4.

Yes its the DPI, its a fairly common problem (alas) that people don't check that when they calculate the window - even Nvidia's ntune doesn't do it!

The beta is better, though if you use large fonts the end of the words get cut off - ie, "OpenOffice.org Writer Po" - what's wrong with allowing people to resize it? Smile
