Halo: Custom Edition

Halo Custom Edition is a multiplayer-only stand alone version of Bungie's sci-fi shooter. Halo CE includes several new multiplayer features and options, the most notable of which is the ability to play user-created content. This add-on is unsupported and does not require a Halo CD and Key to install, but all who download are stating they have purchased and currently own Halo: Combat Evolved.

All I did was make a simple decompresser that extracts it to a temp folder off ur flash drive, it will auto delete after closure. Great for playing at school/work over a LAN.

Please Remove

Hi, could you please remove your link as per the forum guidelines only open source software may be promoted here currently and it seems that this may be illegal too as saying "all who download are stating they have purchased and currently own Halo: Combat Evolved. doesn't work all that well. Blum

Thank you and welcome to PortableApps.com

Can you be more sprecific?

What illegal apps are on the beta testing page? Or do you mean there are launchers for applications we cannot legal redistribute?

Its not really advertised,

Its not really advertised, this is/was a dead topic without any way to get the software seeming how the link is removed.

But there’s no sense crying over every mistake,
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Well..

i do see a lot of illegal software in the beta testing.
and for this to be removed out of all of them is kinda wrong and i think halo is fun game and to have it portable would be awesome.
try doing the free trial version Colin MWelch...

Please list the illegal

Please list the illegal software you see in beta testing.

Tim

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?

You need a CD Key, unless it is an illegal modified version

@mod: requested topic lock

this is going to get out of hand, can a mod lock this topic. There is no place for illegal software to be discussed on this site. Thank you.

Because

at the time the post was made (and all of the comments), the only software allowed on this site were open source. This site has since relaxed this to include freeware with the author's permission.

With this, 2 things would have to happen.

  1. The makers of Halo would have to give their consent for something like this to be made.
  2. This site would have to allow launchers for commercial software (something it currently does not do).

It is doubtful, that either of these 2 would happen (though I have been wrong before). Hope this helps.
