So now that Official apps are being signed, what is the best way to actually check these signatures? The only app I have found thus far is a command line tool from Microsoft called SigCheck. It gets the job done, but isn't exactly user friendly. So what have other people been using to check the signatures?
Actually Windows itself does the checking so when you start or download it does not show a warning message.
From Windows Explorer (My Computer) right-click on the file and choose properties. There should be a tab for Digital Signatures.

Neither of these seem to apply to the xp pro sp2 machine I am on now. I don't get warnings on unsigned apps and I don't have a "digital Signature" tab in the properties window. Is there a setting to enable/disable these features? Sorry if this is a silly line of questions, just having one of those days. wait, does ie7 need to be installed to get this functionality? IT department here hasn't put that through yet.
