I keep getting :

You are not authorized to view this page

every time I try to download a file. I get it with IE Opera and FF.

If you have the problem with all 3, maybe you aren't authorised? Smile

One common glitch is when

One common glitch is when people right-click on the download button, instead of just clicking on it.

But we do need to know which page you're having trouble with if we are to try to help you.

I left click :
Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition
Mozilla Thunderbird, Portable Edition
KeePass Password Safe Portable
ClamWin Portable

This reasults with "This object has been blocked." I get the same reply with script allowed globally. By the way portableapps.com is allowed to run scripts.

Next I followed the link manually to ScourceForge.net and every thing ends there with no download. The web page just sits there. With script allowed globally. Both with fire wall on and off.

It appears to me that the failure is with ScourceForge.net?
I used winget beta 0.2.0 copied and past the links I found at ScourceForge.net then was able to download.

script allowed globally

"script allowed globally"
From the above I assume you are using "NoScript"

Just to be safe, Disable NoScript and try again.
Again, Don't just allow scripts globally, disable NoScript.

This will Probably Not Help, but it is best to completely eliminate NoScript before proceeding.

Tim

{edit: I just started the FFP download with NoScript active and Sorceforge NOT allowed, nor any of the associated sites, and the download work properly using:
"Your download should begin shortly. If you are experiencing problems with the download please use this direct link.

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?

Thank you

Maybe it was my service provider?? Now everything functions like it did before. With no scripts running.

Thanks again to those who offered help.
