Thief - Chess

A Client for online-Chess is missing at portableApps. I would suggest:

Program: Thief
License: LGPL (a little bit unclear. see below)
Description: Client for the free FICS - Online Chess-Server.
Website:
http://www.thief-interface.com/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thief_(chess)

License seems to be a litte bit unclear. On wikipedia, it just says LGPL. On the website it says:
"[...] WhoAmI [the author] decided to stop writing and supporting Thief but graciously released the source code so that Thief could be further developed. Ludens has taken up the lead and is currently maintaining the Thief project.
Thief source code is FREEWARE. Released AS IT IS WITHOUT ANY DIRECT OR IMPLIED WARRENTY WHATSOEVER. There are no licenses involved. The only licence is the LGPL for using Knights Theme Pack pieces in installation release (one of the piece author asked to include the LGPL.TXT for using his pieces). "

The Application was earlier published on http://thief.sourceforge.net/ , but this site dont work anymore.

I would say, you have to ask the author, to specify the sentence "There are no licenses involved. The only licence is the LGPL for using Knights Theme Pack pieces in installation release "

Other clients could be found on http://www.freechess.org/cgi-bin/Download/FICS_Download_Interface.cgi
But I didn't check all of them for the license... WinBoard an Jin are GPL for sure.

According to the project

According to the project page:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/thief/

The whole project is licensed under GNU GPL.
The website http://thief.sourceforge.net/ works just fine for me.
