Looking for simple Timer / Reminder - Tool

Hi,

I'm looking for a very simple, lightweight, portable Timer / Reminder - Tool.
It should be possible to set

1. a time, when it has to remind me.
2. a timer, to remind me after 45min.
3. the text for the message-window, which should appear when the time has come.

That's all. Of course it would be great to have other options, like shutdown windows etc, but that's not important, because i have an other tool for that.

Thanks for any suggestions!

P.S. Is this the right forum? The requested - Apps Forum is only for specific suggestions for portableapps.com applications, isn't it? For me, thats not important. An opensource app from portableapps.com would be great, but freeware from other sources would be perfect, too.

PNotes

Try using the search feature in the upper right hand corner.
Search for PNotes. I got it from here and it seems to do what you want. I'm not sure of its current status as far as the PortableApps format is concerned.

The reason I don't want to point you right to it is I'm not sure of the current status of what's what version wise.

Perhaps someone reading this will point to info about latest greatest and if it's going to be .pafed

PNotes

It's not PAFed yet, but we've been working with the original developer to improve the base app, and I believe Ryan will be maintaining the PAF version of it.

It's here: http://pnotes.sourceforge.net/ and is starting to look great.

PNotes timer function is

PNotes' timer function is well hidden! And it doesnt have a countdown time. I cant specify a text-message to appear, too. 1 out of 3 simple functions. (Correct me if i'm wrong). So its out. Thanks anyway Wink

P.S.: i think the prog is intended for other things (pNOTES), which it can do very nice. The prog is good, just not what i was looking for.

PersonalReminder is another I've found.

PersonalReminder is another I've found. It's oriented more from having a schedule tell you what to do, rather than a personal notes keeper with the option to remind you.

You are closer: meCasa can set a custom text message and a date. Lacks countdown-timer, too. 2 out of 3 simple functions. Thanks, but i hope for something better Wink

ummm, what about the big

ummm, what about the big {Countdown} button on the GUI when you create a new reminder? It lets you set the countdown you want.

EXACTLY what I was looking

EXACTLY what I was looking for! Thanks a lot!

Edit: but what would be even better: an option to see, how much time left till timer... So, 3 out of 3, but an extra would be nice Wink
