Suggestion to improve "What's new" section of releases

Hi,

Whenever there's a new portable release of an application it is announced.
In the announcement there's a section called "New In This Release" that lists the changes from last release. Problem is it refers only to the "portability layer" of the app, not to the original app. Regarding the original app it only states "Updated to the latest version of..." or "Updated to version x.x.x of y".

I suggest to add a link to the "what's new" or "change log" of the original app.

Sure It's possible for the end-users (the downloader) to locate this but it's much easier for the developer since he already visits the change log while developing this new portable version.

Just to clarify myself:
I'm not talking about an edit of the original app change log. Just a link to it. Something like:

--- start sample ---

New In This Release

This release updates VLC Media Player to the latest release (0.8.6e - Changelog). It has an improved launcher with better integration with the upcoming PortableApps.com Platform. And it's now digitally signed to ensure integrity.

--- end sample ---

I have to agree with all of you. This is a great idea.
