I've put up a new page on Ryan's PortableApps wiki explaining how to check if your appicon.ico complies with PortableApps developer standards.
If there's an artist or dev out there that can figure out how to use @icon sushi to create new icons or add more sizes & bit depths to and existing icon that would be great.

Edit: I've added another command that should be used by devs to clean up stray Thumbs.db files so this is accidentally turning into the "PortableApp developer pre-packaging checklist" I'd thought of months ago.

I've been meaning to put info like that on Ryan's wiki, I've just been lazy. You're the first dev to ask me how to check their icons after I mentioned the correct formats weren't included so that motivated me to finally type it up. I just found this program about two weeks ago myself after I realized I'm going to need to "get smarter" on icons if I intend to fix any of my PortableApps to make them into developer releases.
