I know it has been covered various times but nothing concrete happened. So I'll sum it up...
How many developers are currently working on the Portable Apps (1.5/2.0) menu? Are they the developers of all known previous Mod's?
When can we expect the 1.5 Beta and the updated descriptions? This month? 3 months? 6 months?
What is the reason for the delay? Is the new format description not ready? Is there no 1.5 Alpha?
Can we please skip v1.1 and move on to 1.5/2.0?
Why does it take so long for v1.1 to come out of beta? I remember I started using it long ago and little or no progress has been made on it since Beta 4.
Of course there are several things that have delayed posting the new things but I think you have the format pretty ironed out and maybe it's time just to publish those and take it from there?
It's just that I am hearing "wait until after the weekend" and "withing 2 weeks" for a long time is some replies from John to some of my forum posts long ago when I was working on a portable version of an app that I get a little worried because I stopped working on the portable version just because of those replies and started waiting. I'm still waiting...

Next week will not be next week. Two weeks delay by the court bring many more than two weeks delay here. I feel tension, trouble, frustration, indifference and amusement.
But what do I want?

- A fixed date in six months?
- A "It's done when it's done"?
- A "next week"?
I am probably only content if I see the download.
But it happened (God would be thanks to) recently much in this forum.
- There are weekly messages. It mostly means "soon".
- Many new Mods which are congratulated as if the Queen had ennobled them.
- A beta team from the half of the members of the forum who give themselves funny names.
- Mod developers which are included in the project and do not develop any further Mods.
But what can I do? John is not a God, although some treat him in such a way and are jubilant loud, as soon as he posts a comment. But my work depends on him as long as I do not take on his work. I only can wait. And, so long, doing what I can do now.
All of this sounds itself now somewhat ungratefully. It is to be not impudently, but realistically (in my way).

I can't remember where he said it, but Beta 5 should be out in a week-ish. That being said, he does have a life, which could result in delays.
I happen to think he lives on a planet where weeks are longer than here.
But as a programmer myself, I know that it's hard to meet a deadline when you are creating something new. If it were completely straightforward, it would have been done by now.
