Need Help with VLC Plugin

Does anybody know, how to (manual) install the VLC Plugin for FFP 3beta3? I use the VLC regular version (not portable) and already tried the mozilla-plugin-option during the installation.
Same problem with WMP 11 Plugin (tried this one), but DivX and the older WMP are working fine. Dont know why
