I was wondering if there is a PDF editor that will allow me to fill out PDF forms that are created without a fillable field?

Any suggestions?

Foxit - not OSS but commercial

I have looked around alot for this and the only thing I found is FoxIt Reader. You can download a trial version that can fill in forms but adds a watermark at the top of the page. The paid for version is fully functional but costs around $25 I think. There is a launcher in the beta forums (use the search to find it) to make it work portably which works with both the trial and full version.

there is a free (beer) one

PDF XChange is available in a lite and pro versions.

The free one has a typewriter tool that can do your form filling for you, and doesn't save a watermark.

You can get it at http://www.docu-track.com/downloads/users/
