Firefox 3 Beta 4 - user logged in?

Hi John,

When you go to the home page, you are taken to the google search page with a user already logged in to it.

You have the option to sign out, but fortunately cannot edit the (gmail) account in question.

Not sure if this is a problem in the source code or a problem on the website(search page) so I'm logging it here and on the FF feedback page.

Regards
Paul

Can't Reproduce

I can't reproduce this at all. And there is nothing in the default profile to cause this (cookies.txt doesn't even exist). My guess is that you upgraded and something happened with the cookies.txt or the rest of your profile.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

It could be.

Hi John,

Once you have "signed out" of the google (search page) it does not reproduce the problem.

Your analysis is probably correct as mine was not a clean install. I just kept on installing over the previous beta releases. However I do not use it as my browser so there should not have been any cookies. I simply test the install, check out a few websites to see if it is working and that's it.

It's not serious anyway, I just felt sorry for the poor oke whose email address it was.

Regards
Paul
