i emailed smithtech about it while i couldent get on to see if he knew anything but i still havent gotten a reply.
BTW, anyne seen smithy anywhere lately? i havent seen any recent posts and his site looks exactly the same as it did 3 months ago.
anyway, looks like the problem is fixed. i am thinking myself that john either shut off the server last night or he was doing maitenence because it was like the site didnt even exist anymore. my browser defaulted to live search like i had entered in the url wrong.

Same here. 12:30 GTM. Few minutes later it launched a 500 Server error. And a little more after it was OK.
