Free Portable Applications For Flash Drives
Today I bought a Peak III USB Flash Drive and with it came a leaflet which lists some applications for use with Flash drives. The leaflet goes about explaining what portable applications are and..
"PEAK has collected a selection of portable applications and has verified them as safe and useful tools for users."
Software mentioned: PStart, Taango, DeepBurner, SoftPerfect, FoxitReader, PhotoFiltre, XnView, Remora USB Disk Guard...
and our own PortableApps.com apps like:
VLC Portable (5 stars)
OpenOffice Portable (5 stars)
Firefox Portable (4 stars)
Thunderbird Portable (4 stars)
Miranda IM (3 stars)
Filezilla (4 stars)
Each app shows a small description, date added, license details, Screen shot, PEAK Rating and a link to the appropriate web page of the apps. (In the case of PAM apps, the portable apps pages)
While the applications are not delivered with the thumb drive, I say this is great promotion for PortableApps.com

Now we all have to discover why not all of it have 5 stars and make it 5 stars...
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
definitively deserve 5...

FF getting 4 stars is a joke. What's it take to get 5 stars as a browser?
Anywho...glad they give a shoutout to PortableApps.
