I've recently been using Task Coach Portable. It's an awesome program, very powerful, but it is missing a key feature all portable apps should have: relative paths. Every time the programs starts, it opens the file it was last working on. I keep this file, tasks.tsk, in the \Documents folder of my portable drive. However, every time I change workstations, the drive letter of the device changes and Task Coach cannot open it, so I have to open it manually, which is a big time consumer. Any chances this could be fixed?
It should update the drive letter in the settings file so it still automatically opens it again.
Are you sure you're saving the file in documents, and the file isn't moved at all when you start Task Coach on a different drive?
I'll test it out some more, but can't see what the problem is.
Edit: I see the problem. I'll try to post a beta of a fix tonight. Thanks.
Edit 2: Alright, thanks for pointing this out. The problem should now be fixed. Please test this out and let me know if it works, thanks.
