Coincidence?

That just happened to me a few minutes ago, too, and I believe it was on that page. Anyways, it happens.

Yes, just checked, it's still happening and only happening on that page... interesting.

add filter/blocker

I think you use a add filter or blocker, like add block plus in firefox, that points or the link to the adds by google to the actual site, so that you see a snipplet of the site instead of the google adds in the space used by the add, or something other like this.

By the way: i have a add blocker too, but often itis deactivated, cause i support sites that earn money by advertising - smmewhere they must get there money,... if everone would have such restrictive add blockers, that not allow any kind of advertising the internet would be a big pay tv. The biggest add blocker i have is in my had and believe me: it is very creative in ignoring any adds,... Wink

Nope

No ad blockers for me. Did you go to that page in the forums? It's only that one.

I saw that anomaly too, but

I saw that anomaly too, but only briefly.

I block ads too, but only the ones that are excessively obnoxious -- the ones that open a new window or move around on the screen or obscure content or flash gaudy colors. I try to support the ones that are well behaved and let me know about products and services I might actually use, but I certainly don't want to encourage those other advertisers!

Seen It

I've seen it happen. Rarely. And I think only with IE6.

Yea

I know I'd seen it a couple times before, I just thought it was odd it was only happening on that one page.

Firefox

I just saw it on FF. I'll try and use Firebug to work it out next time I see it Smile
