Phantom CD enables you to mount a CD or DVD image and access it from a virtual drive, without the need to insert the physical media. If you have plenty of hard drive space to store your disk images, this method can be more convenient and offer faster performance than running the actual CD or DVD. Phantom CD supports ISO and BIN/CUE image formats that can be created with any disk imaging software. You can load disk images from the main interface or, more conveniently, by simply right-clicking on the virtual drive icon that is added to Windows Explorer.

the same day...
This is freeware, not open source, it is the third time you request something that can't be done here... we only support open source.
Three times: Phantom CD, Log This!, and iPod Touch.
Moreover, it is supposed that we can request one App per day only.
Please read here before requesting again...
Did I said "Welcome to PortableApps" yet? I think so but if not... Welcome to PortableApps.com
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
The problem also is it has to 'mount' an iso as drive to windows. I think these need a device driver which means the application would need Administrator rights which makes it less desirable to have as portable application.
Sidenote: 7Zip can 'open' ISO files...
are there any portable imaging software packages on portable apps. i wouod like to be able to have one.
if not then there should be one.
An Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
