That's all. Lookin' good, and thanks for doin' this.
Edit: Forgot to mention, Zach Hudock did a nice logo here. I'd ask him if he minds you using it, if he doesn't, it'd look great in the splash and as an icon replacement.

You need to contact the author and ask if his source can be released under an open source license. He has his source available, but I don't think he's attached a license to it at all. So, we can't use it or even redistribute it without permission.

do you want me to pull the download 4 now?
Please search before posting. ~Thanks
You probably should. Although it looks like the author might be ok with you doing it. If it were on SourceForge you definitely should as you'd be violating the SF terms of service.

that sucks. this program looked like it would be nice to have portable. o well can't get them all. thanks for checking though
I just saw Framakey had XN Resource Editor available and listed as the MPL. I was curious as to how they decided it was MPL, so I check the source of XN Resource Editor. Although there's no actual license file, about 4 of the files in the source package have the MPL at the top of them. So I think you may be okay to re-release.
and please do!
Lead, Follow, or get out of the way.
I saw it was MPL licensed at one point.
However, I think the author changed it.Edit: Yes, it is MPL. http://www.wilsonc.demon.co.uk/delphi.htm

cowthink 'Dude, why are you staring at me.'
yeah good find. so since it's the mpl license, does that mean we need permission like with firefox?
Good find, John. That's all we need to go forward.

I think this is good for a pre-release from my quick test. The DisplayVersion should also be 3.0.0.1 in the AppInfo.ini, though. Any other testers?

When I get a chance. This whole Windows thing is holding me back.
Also, think RegShot will ever go out? I was thinking it'd be handy to have some PortableApps.com Utils like RegShot, NSIS, XN Resource Editor, etc all out together to make it easier. But it is a small developerish utility, so maybe it can just stay floating around the forums.
having a dev pack with this one, NSIS and johns compressor and others may be cool.

Sorry about not getting the chance to test it before now, but I've just gave it a quick test with vista ultimate sp1 (admin account) and it works well, and leaves nothing obvious behind.
Let's make this a pre-release. Here's the splash:
