Google in English by Default

I live in Oman the middle east. Wehenver I use the search bar I get a search result page in Arabic. How can I change this to default in English?

Google does that based on your originating IP. It's not something you can set in Firefox. I'm pretty sure there's an option on the page to change the language that will set a cookie for you.

ok I did it. I did not see

ok I did it. I did not see anything when the search result came(obviously I can't understand Arabic). So I went to the google page and clicked on "English" and that set it.
