App Suggestion - semi-transparent on-screen ruler

Sorry guys - and thanks for showing me how to move my misplaced post here.

Found a portable semi-transparent on-screen ruler here: http://www.download.com/On-screen-Ruler/3000-2192_4-10520256.html?tag=lst-1

Being semi-transparent, i can easliy see what i am measuring (pixels, inches, cm). And being able to nudge it is useful.

Here's the blurb from downloads.com:

This program is a semi-transparent on-screen ruler with keyboard shortcuts to help you lay out GUIs and Web pages or measure anything on your screen. Right-click to learn the options and shortcuts. The ruler saves its settings upon exit, so it always looks the way you configured it last. The program comes with a built in uninstaller. It is safe for work, since it does not modify your registry.

Any interest?

Looks cool, too bad

It looks very nice. Too bad it's freeware. Says on the website: http://john.kummailil.googlepages.com/downloads .
It is the wrong forum, it's supposed be in the request apps forum. Say, did you know, that you can edit your posts and move them to another forums by clicking the edit button under the topic name? It's magical.
And welcome to PortableApps.com Smile

Once Again

Please lay off the sarcasm and talking down to new users. This has been discussed *WAY* too many times.

"Say, did you know, that you can edit your posts and move them to another forums by clicking the edit button under the topic name? It's magical."

Is that really necessary? Respond kindly. No sarcasm. No snarkiness. No teasing. Just respond and answer their question. Or please refrain entirely from answering new user's questions.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I assume you're probably just trying to sound funny and clever, but I've mentioned this before.

When you say something like:

Say, did you know, that you can edit your posts and move them to another forums by clicking the edit button under the topic name? It's magical.

It sounds a little rude, and kinda like you're implying the user is stupid or something. So just tell them how they can move there post, no need to say it in that way.

Thanks. Smile
