Sync multiple folders

I've searched the forum and help files but can't seem to find an answer. Is there a way to sync more than one folder at a time? Steve responded to a post in August 2007 that said to look for it in a future version - not yet?

This

may make it into Alpha 2 of version 2, if not I expect to support multiple folder sync in the third alpha.

Simple Batch processing?

Will future versions have the option to run multiple "settings" settings in sequence (i.e. batch processing of jobs)? It seems like this might be a solution to multiple requests I've seen on this forum.

I can see complications using this method when using synchronization because you'd have to make sure that the current job was not overwriting the previous job's efforts , but essentially it's a simple solution without (I would think) too much heavy coding.

I guess if you have 3-way (or greater) sync then that's where it could get pretty messy, but if you just want to sync multiple folders that do not share a common parent folder then this would probably work fine.

Another example was somebody requesting the ability to specify two distinct destinations for one source. Again, running a batch process would probably be the easiest solution to this.

I suppose you could do this as is now using the command line and DOS batch files but it's just not as nice from a user-interface point of view.

Just my two cents worth.

Indeed

that was the plan, there will be a whole new tab called scripting which you will be able to use to do fairly simple scripting, I did a blog post about it here.
