Firefox from CD with sumatrapdf

Hi everybody,
currently I'm trying to get a self hosted cd working.
On this CD you should be able to view HTML files and linked PDFs which are all burned on that CD.

I tried with following setup follwoing:
autorun.inf

[AutoRun]
open=FirefoxPortable\FirefoxPortable.exe
action=Starte Text
icon=some.ico
label=Some nice label text

FirefoxPortable.ini which is located under FirefoxPortable right next to the FirefoxPortable.exe

[FirefoxPortable]
FirefoxDirectory=App\firefox
ProfileDirectory=Data\profile
PluginsDirectory=Data\plugins
SettingsDirectory=Data\settings
FirefoxExecutable=firefox.exe
AdditionalParameters=
LocalHomepage=..\www.wma-sb.de\index.html
DisableSplashScreen=true
DisableIntelligentStart=true
AllowMultipleInstances=true
SkipChromeFix=false
SkipCompregFix=false
WaitForFirefox=false
RunLocally=true

In the mimetypes.rdf the PDF is assigned to sumatra which is directly in the CD root.

While runnign form USB everything works fine, but when I burn it on CD Firefox starts nicely but in the temporary file %user%....\temp\FirefoPortable\profile\mimetypes.rdf the sumatra path didn't change the drive letter from e.g. f: (USB Stick) to e: (CD-ROM) I thought this is the job of the luncher...?

Not Supported

The ability to update the mimetypes doesn't work with live mode. Licensing-wise, you can't redistribute Firefox Portable that way, anyway.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Hi,
I just updated to the current firefoxportable, now the path in the temporarily stored mimetypes.rdf is changed to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\SumatraPDFPortable\SumatraPDFPortable.exe"
instead of
:SumatraPDFPortable\SumatraPDFPortable.exe"

Where can I find the license... I thought firefox is GPL, so all work based on it must be redistributed under the GPL, too.

It is an MPL/GPL dual license. The problem is that the name Firefox and the logo are trademarked by Mozilla so you need an agreement with them to distribute a modified package.
