hi, i wana meke a sugestion for portable apps, more specific for firefox. When i use it form my pen drive and have many tabs open something that in a pc takes me 1 munute with my pen takes me more than 4 minutes so i suges to first search in the pc for a HDD then create on it a temp folder "c:\TempFF" and alocate on it the cache and temp files used when surfing so it will be more kicker, aldo maintein all the app on ram (when opening a app load it ALL on ram so it will be fast while the user work), and while closing the app save all the necesary data again on the pen drive.
The entire App into a folder in the HDD:
1. it can take longer than just run it from the USB drive.
2. it will be not safe anymore, even if the temp folder is deleted at the end, it can be restored.
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
3. If the flash drive is removed suddenly, the app may stay there
4. Why bother Copying and deleting the app every time?
5. You can move the app on your own if you want
6. This may not work well if a different version f the program is already installed.
7. The concept of portableapps is that nothing goes on the host PC

then just put the temp and cache on the ram, as i have experimented usin themp files on the pen drive take to much time making it not practic
