http://www.osalt.com/ lists Open Source Alternatives. I was looking through the list and saw apps like Ad-Aware, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, McAfee VirusScan, etc. Are those apps really Open Source?

Osalt lists both Commercial apps and their open source alternatives. Apps with a red blob next to their name are commercial, apps with a green blob are OSS. and in the colored boxes on the right hand side, they list the most popular of each category, Commercial and OSS.
