I have tried to search for this but did not find anything. I apologise if this is a repetition.
Is there any way in Firefox to add a bookmark for a location on the memory stick? Obviously the main issue is that the mount point for the memory stick varies, so there is no fixed path?
An alternative would be the ability to add custom shortcuts to the portableapps launcher, to allow you to launch the portable firefox and thus pass a relative path in the command line to the document on the memory stick.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
I didn't understood this: pass a relative path in the command line to the document on the memory stick
But if what you're looking for is a way to store Internet Bookamrks outside your Portable Firefox, Google for tiny URL, it is a portable app to do just that, but it's not in paf format and have a lot of exe files...
EDIT: I'm sorry, it is TrayURL, and I googled for you...

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
I did understand what he means.
He's trying to bookmark a document file on the same memory stick that contains the FFP, and suggest the use of a relative path to do so.
I research and try different methods with no success.
I think this need a global parameter on the NSI script, but in that case I'm not the man for the job...

is not a url what he wants to link?
In that case, you have to use a PAM mod or PStart or ASuite. The current Portable Apps Menu (PAM) does not support it yet.

Is there a way to create a global variable, that returns the USB drive letter where the FFP is installed, as a parameter, so you can use it on the bookmarks or URL field?

but if its only one you could pass it as the local homepage via the ini. Read the readme under /Other/Source for more info.

simeon is right, but..
you can try the srapbook addon for firefox and store the bookmark file in multiscrapbook profile folder ( the other option store where you want to doesn´t work well for portable FF) http://amb.vis.ne.jp/mozilla/scrapbook/ , or
just keep the drive letter fixed with this https://portableapps.com/node/10826 ;=

You can actually have any combination of local or remote sites set as your homepage and the launcher will update the path for you (no INI editing required).

I knew that one. You've mentioned is so much.
