Recently I needed to open a huge PDF, 1000+ pages and Sumatra opened it but it
was rather slow, really slow. So keeping with the portable philosophy I searched
for another solution. Surprisingly, what I found was fast, portable and intuitive. Now the only small gripes I have against Sumatra and I've been using it awhile is, no cut paste (text clips) and (now rather) slow on the loading of huge pdfs. Really needed the text clipping because I print everything to pdf nowadays. Just google PDF-XChange. You can find the portable version in their download section. Just wanted to let other PortableApps user known this application exists.

Why do I have the feeling that the app you found isn't truly portable?...
Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.
I can't get into the site now (keep getting DNS/ timed out errors) but the version I'm using that I downloaded about 6 months ago wrote a LOT of registry keys. I wrapped it using JauntePE, and got it down to 3 mb with upx and deleting help files.
It is a nice little app, the "commenting" feature is truly wonderful, but it is definitely closed source.
