And that's it. Miranda runs nicely, I'm not seeing any issues.
I've just tested it, both as a fresh install and as an upgrade.
Both times when I initially launch it, I get the following error message:
Miranda Portable cannot be started. You may wish to re-install to fix this issue. (ERROR: X:\PortableApps\MirandaPortable\Dan\profiles could not be found).
I have tried the re-install and it didn't have any effect.
Windows Vista Ultimate SP1
2.4Ghz processor
2GB Ram

never fails...one of the few times I don't bother proof-reading that happens...lol
I guess I might as well give the correct error message:
Miranda Portable cannot be started. You may wish to re-install to fix this issue. (ERROR: X:\PortableApps\MirandaPortable\Data\profiles could not be found).
Although it's odd, after a couple of launch attempts it finally does successfully launch. To make sure I wasn't suffering from a lack of sleep I deleted Miranda and re-installed, and the first 2 or 3 of launches I did get the error messages then it launched without problem
