TB does not recognize Profile folders

Hi,

I started TB Portable yesterday and it came up with the question, if I want to create a new email account. All the old ones are not displayed by TB, but are in the right folder and I did not change anything. I tried to reinstall TB Portable, but it did not work. Im lost...

account, or profile?

You say that it doesn't recognise profiles, but that you caused this by adding a new account.

Email accounts and profiles are two entirely different things. You can have many many email accounts within a single profile, and this works fine with TB Portable.

However, TB Portable explicitly does NOT support multiple profiles. This was a design decision in the launcher, and it is not likely to change any time soon. Profiles are usually used to separate different people who use the same copy of TB on a computer, while USB drives are usually one per person.

If you're trying to add another email account, do not do it by adding a profile, just add the account to the single default profile that is created when you first run TBP
