how do do i get firefox portable working at school?

can somebody help me get firefox working at school. I tried to run it at school, but a antivirus called Sophos closes my firefox portable. Does anybody know how to bypass it or something.

Could it be as simple as closing Sophos.exe or a related file

from the process tree?
