I love Toucan and use it to encrypt data files on a USB drive I carry on my keychain. I also have a pocketpc (Samsung I760) with a 4G SD card. Most of the Time I change data is with my phone to the data on the SD card of my phone. My USB drive is basically a backup after changes to the phone's data.
I want to create a dos batch file to syncronize the data from my SD card to my USB drive. My problem is I don't know what program I can use on a Windows Mobile 6 device to encrypt the data so that it can be decrypted by Toucan. I know toucan creates files with a unique extension when it encrypts them.
Any ideas what program I can use on a WM6 device to encrypt data on my SD card that will be able to be decrypted with Toucan (and vice versa) would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. My problem is that I love Toucan so much I'm not looking for any solution unless it involves Toucan if I can help it.
the moment I dont think that there is any way to do this as ccrypt (the encryption system that Toucan uses) isnt avalible for Pocket PC. I suspect it could be compiled however, but I have no experiance in Pocket PC programming and this isnt a feature that will go high on the list to be honest.
Thanks for the reply. I am bummed because I love Toucan. My next try will be to zip these with a password but I didn't want to go there if I didn't have to.
